Who is responsible What we process, why, and for how long Cookies and your browser The waitlist Who else sees your data Your rights Also worth knowing

The short version. No cookies, no ad trackers, no accounts. We count visits without identifying anyone. We keep an email address only if you ask us to tell you when a tool opens, and you can remove it any time.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Andrea Celeste Gervasoni, an individual acting on their own behalf (not yet a company), referred to here as “Fluke”, “we” or “us”.

For anything about your data, write to privacy@usefluke.it. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the law does not require one for a project of this size.

What we process, why, and for how long

WhatWhyLegal basisHow long
Server logs: IP address, time, page requested, browser type, kept by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.)).To deliver the site and keep it secure.Legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).As short as the provider allows, normally a few weeks. We do not read them unless there is a security problem.
Visit statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics: page, referrer, country, browser and device type, and page-speed measures. No cookies, no stored identifier, no tracking across sites, no profile. To know which pages are read, in aggregate.Legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not used to identify you.Aggregated figures are kept as long as the project runs.
Waitlist: your email address, the tool you asked about, the date and time, and a record of your consent. To write to you once, when that tool opens, and for nothing else.Your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).Until you withdraw consent, and in any case no longer than 24 months after you signed up.
Messages you send us: your address and what you write. To answer you.Legitimate interest, or steps you ask for before a contract (art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).As long as needed to answer, then up to 24 months.

Giving us your data is never required to read the site. For the waitlist and for messages, without your email address we simply cannot write to you.

Cookies and your browser

This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking technologies.

The only thing the site writes to your browser is one entry in session storage, named fluke-seen, so that the opening animation is shorter if you come back during the same visit. It stays on your device, is never sent to us and disappears when you close the tab. Because it only provides a feature you asked for, it needs no consent.

Fonts, scripts and images are served from the site itself: nothing is loaded from third-party font or tracking services. The only third-party script is the Cloudflare Web Analytics counter described above.

The waitlist

If you join a waitlist you fill in a short form and tick a box that says what you are agreeing to. The form keeps your answer with the date and time, which is how we can show that you agreed. We then use your address only to tell you when that tool opens, or to tell you that the plan has changed. It is not a newsletter, we do not add you to any other list, and we do not pass the address on.

You can leave at any time, in one click from any email we send or by writing to privacy@usefluke.it. We then delete the address from the form and from our records.

The waitlist is run with Tally (Tally B.V., Belgium), which stores the address for us under a data processing agreement.

Who else sees your data

We use a few providers who process data on our instructions: our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.)), which also runs the visit counter and our domain name service (Cloudflare, Inc., United States, certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework), the waitlist provider named above and our email provider. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising. We may share data if a law or a public authority requires it.

Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent you can withdraw it whenever you like, without affecting what happened before.

Write to privacy@usefluke.it. We answer within one month. If you think we have handled your data wrongly you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the authority of the country where you live.

Also worth knowing

  • We make no decisions about you by automated means and we do not profile you.
  • The site and the waitlist are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
  • We keep the site served over HTTPS and limit access to the few accounts that need it. No system is perfectly secure; if there is a breach that puts you at risk we will tell you and the authority as the law requires.
  • If we change this policy we change the date at the top and, if the change matters, we tell the people on the waitlist.
